Indigo Dyeing as Our Ancestors Did It

I had a wonderful time today at Ossabaw Island State Heritage Preserve learning about the process of indigo dyeing and the history of indigo and cotton plantations at Ossabaw Island. I give thanks to all the Ancestors who labored under slavery on those former plantations.
